Firearms, ammunition stolen from Yellowknife home

Two firearms and ammunition were among several items stolen during three separate incidents of breaking and entering and theft in Yellowknife over the weekend.

During the day on Friday, RCMP say an AR-15 Rifle, a .40 caliber Glock Pistol and 2000 rounds of ammunition were stolen from a residence in the Range Lake area.

A second incident was reported in the downtown area Sunday, when a resident told police a TV was stolen and property was damaged sometime between Friday night and Sunday morning.

The third incident also occurred downtown and was reported Sunday.

There, a resident reported that hockey equipment and storage containers were stolen from their garage.

If you have any information about any of these crimes, contact Yellowknife RCMP at (867) 669-1111 or Crimestoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
