Yellowknife shares airbnb survey

The City of Yellowknife wants to know people’s thoughts on Airbnb. It is looking at creating a new bylaw that would control short term rental accommodations like those booked through the Airbnb service.

A survey is open to the public online on the City’s website. Questions ask who should be able to operate a short term rental accommodation and what type of dwelling should be able to be rented out as a short term rental accommodation. There will also be to public meetings held for residents to learn more on October 3rd and 4th.
