Beer, card reader stolen from Inuvik golf course

RCMP is investigating reports of a break and enter at a golf course in Inuvik. It’s believed the break-in to the clubhouse at Roads End Golf Club happened sometime between the evening of September 2nd and 6 p.m. on September 4th.

“During the investigation, information was received indicating two locks used to deadbolt the club house door closed were broken off,” Inuvik RCMP says. “Approximately 150 bottles of beer were stolen along with a Square card reader that accepted credit cards with tap and chip functionality.”

Anyone with information that could help police in their investigation is asked to contact the detachment or Crime Stoppers. A post on the golf club’s Facebook page adds that any help is appreciated.
