Three passengers killed in fatal plane crash identified

Three passengers who were killed in a fatal plane crash near Fort Simpson last week have been identified.

The Office of the Chief Coroner has identified the passengers as Geoffrey Dean, aged 33 from Castor, Alberta, and Stewart and Jean Edelman, both aged 72, of Saskatoon.

The small Cessna 206 passenger plane operated by Simpson Air went down in Little Doctor lake with five people on board last Thursday.

The Coroner Service, the RCMP and the Transportation Safety Board are continuing their investigation into this fatal incident.

The Coroner Service expresses our condolences to their family and friends,” a news release from the Office of the Chief Coroner states.
