Diavik Super Soccer tournament wraps up in Yellowknife

Yellowknife, NWT – The Diavik Super Soccer tournament is in the books for another year.

Teams from all across the North have now headed home after one of the biggest indoor soccer events in Canada.

Yellowknife schools did very well.

Fraser Oliver is the tournament chairman.

“Lots of old winners I’d say like Sir John Franklin High School took the girls 15AA and the 19AA banners in exciting games against St. Pat’s High School. On the flipside, the St. Pat’s boys won both the 15AA and the 19AA championships beating two good teams from Sir John.”

Diamond Jenness School in Hay River took the title in the girl’s 15 and under single A category.
