Ndilo man charged with bootlegging

On Saturday evening, Yellowknife RCMP began an investigation into a suspected incident of the illegal sales of alcohol from a home in N’dilo.

RCMP investigated the allegation which led to a search warrant being executed at the suspected residence. A man from N’dilo was arrested without incident and a search of the house yielded 41 mickeys of Smirnoff Vodka.

The man has been charged with three offences under the Liquor Act.

Yellowknife RCMP thanked the public for their contribution to the investigation.
