Inuvik RCMP investigating sudden death

Inuvik RCMP are investigating after a man was found dead in the community this weekend.

This Saturday around 1:10 pm, Inuvik RCMP received a call about a sudden death.

The RCMP, Inuvik Emergency Medical Services and the Fire Department attended the scene, where a 35-year-old man was found dead on the premises of a work site.

The RCMP are working with the NWT Coroner Service and the Worker’s Safety & Compensation Commission (WSCC) as the investigation continues.

The death is not deemed suspicious at this time.
