Body found on Twin Pine Hill

Yellowknife RCMP are investigating the discovery of a body in a wooded area. Officers were called to a possible sudden death in the spot between 44th Street and School Draw Avenue around 9 a.m. the morning of May 9th.

A deceased person was found, and the NWT Coroner Service was called in to investigate. To help, interviews have been done with people living in the area.

Anyone else with information is asked to contact Yellowknife RCMP or Crime Stoppers. Police haven’t commented on the cause of death or if foul play is suspected.
