Inuvik-Tuk Highway closes

The Inuvik-Tuktoyaktuk Highway has closed due to muddy and slippery conditions.

The Government of the Northwest Territories’ Department of Infrastructure will be monitoring the situation and will update northwestern NWT residents as soon as the conditions lessen.

This is the second time this week the highway has closed for these particular conditions. The last time saw the Inuvik-Tuk Highway open after roughly twelve hours.
