After a final push, it appears Mother Nature is heading into Spring here in Yellowknife.
A record-breaking April 17th snowfall caught a lot of residents off-guard, but rising temperatures has seen the closure of winter roads around the territory.
The weekend will see temperatures hovering around zero, with a spike coming out of the two-day break. Expected highs of +5°C and +7°C on Tuesday and Wednesday show promise.

As always, with the warmer weather, be sure to drive safe and be smart. Motorists should watch their speed. Pedestrians should also take into account road conditions when crossing the street.
Happy Spring!
