Tuesday’s snowfall is a record for April 17th, warmer weather to follow

Hope you have your boots ready, because snow is a’coming.

It’s been a record-setting snowfall so far this week, with over 3 cm of snow on Tuesday. The number is a record for April 17th. It’s not going to slow down this morning either, as 2-4 cm of precipitation is expected for today.

The key word is precipitation, as it is expected to warm up throughout the day – and week. Expect a lot of slush in your near future.

As always, drive safe, drive smart. Slow down on turns, and watch for pedestrians.
