RCMP officer dies in snowmobile accident

Nunavut RCMP are investigating the sudden death of an RCMP member.

The officer died in a snowmobile accident near an area known as Blood Falls, in Kugluk Territorial Park. The area is roughly 20 minutes outside of the community of Kugluktuk.

Additional resources are being sent to Iqaluit.

The Office of the Chief Coroner is also involved.
