The NWT’s female curlers put up a fight, but ultimately fell to Ontario 11-7 in round-robin play at the Canada Winter Games in Prince George Wednesday.
The team trailed 4-0 after two ends but managed to tie the game by the fifth before Ontario pulled away for good in the sixth.
With the loss, Team NWT drops to 2-3 with a single game against Prince Edward Island remaining.
Ontario improves to 4-0 in round-robin play with upcoming games against British Columbia and the Yukon.
