How will ancient carbon affect the Northwest Territories?
Last week, scientists published a report that detailed how ancient carbon from hundreds to thousands of years ago is now being released out of the permafrost.
However, despite this new evidence, scientists continue to debate whether this is a regularly occurring process, or a result of climate change.
