Spring Clean-Up applications being accepted

Spring is quickly coming – and with that – the City of Yellowknife is getting it’s ‘Spring Clean-Up’ ready.

Applications for non-profit organizations are being accepted. Groups can apply to help clean-up one of sixty areas within the city. Groups are allowed to volunteer for multiple areas if they have more than 20 people.

An award for $500 will be given out, per area.

The application deadline is April 18, at 4:30 pm.

The Spring Clean-Up will take place from May 19 – 25.
