UPDATE: Power restored in YK

The Northwest Territories Power Corporation has announced that power has been restored in Yellowknife.

An outage had occurred earlier in the hour.

The restoration was made public via Twitter:

Yellowknife outage update- power has been restored.

A spokesperson with the NTPC says a bird made contact with the Jackfish Lake substation.
