Delays are expected on Highway 1 & 3 today, beginning at 11:00am near the NWT/Alberta border.
A temporary road closure will occur when convoy trucks try to get through traffic. The trucks will be crossing the border at 11:00, and will reach Yellowknife by 7:00pm.
Traffic will be stopped at pull outs or wide locations as the three wide load trucks travel northbound along Highway 1.
Wait times are expected to be up to 30 minutes.
Drivers should expect delays up to 30 mins on #NWThwy1 & #NWThwy3 today to accommodate wide loads from the #Alberta/#NWT border around 11a and to Yellowknife around 7p. All traffic will be stopped at available pull outs or wide locations and held until the loads have passed.
