Yesterday, it was reported that a Grande Prairie man was arrested for charges of child exploitation.
The man would pose as a young girl online in order to lure teenage boys. Two victims have been confirmed, while police believe many more are possible. It’s speculated that victims may be within the Northwest Territories.
The Internet Child Exploitation Unit is looking to identify and speak with potential victims. Anyone within the NWT with information about this investigation is asked to call 867-669-1111. You can also submit information anonymously at cybertip.ca.
