Police arrest and charge fourth person linked to Sandy Creek death

A fourth person is being charged in connection to the Sandy Creek homicide investigation.

32-year-old Tyler Cayen, of Hay River, has been arrested and charged with murder under Sec 235 Criminal Code and robbery Sec 344 Criminal Code.

Cayen has been remanded into custody. He is expected to appear in a Yellowknife court on February 6th.

The 32-year old joins three other suspects, all having been arrested in early-January after a body was found in a car along the Sandy Creek access road near Hay River.

Police say the investigation is continuing, with updates to be released as information becomes available.
