Nearly a year after being accused of sexual assault, an Alberta man has been acquitted of his charges.
Brendan Lehman, 25, was accused of sexually assaulting a woman during a performance at the 2016 Folk on the Rocks festival.
The judge ruled the suspect was not identified beyond a reasonable doubt.
The case was one of many reported incidents to come out of the 2016 festival, which led to a more focused approach to battle sexual assault at 2017’s Folk on the Rocks.
