BC mining companies agree to YK mining transaction

92 Resources Corporation released the report of an agreement with Far Resources Limited.

The deal gives Far potentially up to 90% of the Hidden Lake Lithium Project.

Far, in return, will pay $50 000 in cash and give 92 Resources $1 450 000 in shares, while also pumping $2 300 000 into the project itself.

The Project is located about 40km east of Yellowknife.

Suspect facing drug related charges connected to a stolen vehicle

A 33-year-old is facing drug related charges in connection to an alleged incident of vehicle theft. According to the report, on Saturday RCMP received a tip that two people were on route to Behchokǫ̀ to deliver drugs. YK man facing charges after allegedly making false 911 call

A Yellowknife man is facing charges after allegedly fleeing from police after making a false emergency call to 9-1-1 last month. The 27-year-old suspect was allegedly the subject of outstanding charges when the incident occurred in the city last month, said police.

YK Airport conducting emergency preparedness exercise on Tuesday

The GNWT announced that the Yellowknife Airport will be conducting a live security and emergency preparedness exercise on Tuesday. According to the announcement issued today, the exercise is part of routine testing that happens every two years.
