NACC to receive $25K grant from YKCF

The Northern Arts and Cultural Centre is receiving a grant.

The Yellowknife Community Foundation is awarding the NACC with $25 000 for their 25th anniversary celebration.

Foundation president, Bronwyn Watters, is very excited for the celebration.

What a better way to start than with NACC, an organization that exemplifies our vision of a giving community where people working together can make a difference for everyone.

The grant is expected to go toward a new stage and lighting equipment.

President of the NACC, Jean-Francois Pitre, shared Watters’ excitement for the new funds.

We are so honoured and pleased to be the first recipient of this special 25th Anniversary grant from the Yellowknife Community Foundation. This funding will allow us to complete some badly needed upgrades to our ageing theatre’s backstage infrastructure and brings NACC into line with industry standards.

The NACC grant is one of four $25 000 awards the Foundation will be announcing. The other three will be shared in the coming months.

Groups interested in applying for a $25 000 grant can visit ykcf.ca for more information.
