It’s been an appreciatively warm week in Yellowknife and Hay River.
Temperatures rose as high as -5°C through the middle of the week.
Get ready though, as January turns it’s head toward the week. Temperatures will reach back down to below -20°C, with wind chills expected closer to -40°C.
While it isn’t the sub-35/-40°C we experienced just 2/3 weeks ago, it is here to stay for the next couple of weeks.
Time to grab the winter coat again, and enjoy World Snow Day on Sunday!
