Commuters coming into the City this morning had to deal with a water leak.
The City of Yellowknife says the problem was a broken sewage main.
They stressed that sewage collection around the City may be delayed by a day or two.
“Due to a sewage main break on Kam Lake Rd., trucked sewage is interrupted today in areas: Airport, Old Airport Road, Kam Lake, Engles Business District, Con and Grace Lake areas. It will also be interrupted Tuesday, January 17, in Old Town, Latham Island, and Ndilo areas.”
Service should be resumed as soon as possible.
