Snowking’s Winter Festival launches crowdfund to boost snow carving competition

They’re looking to grow in a positive way.

The Snowking’s Winter Festival is hoping the next few years will push them forward.

The Festival is entering it’s 23rd year. The goal is to boost the amount of international ice carvers in the yearly snow carving competition by the 25th year.

They’ve begun a crowdfunding campaign to held raise funds and awareness.

Every year, our goal for the entire festival is to create an event that is accessible to the public, with activities for all ages,” says the Snowking. “This is one of our favourite features of the festival, as it brings the creativity that goes into snow carving right into the public sphere. Being outside the castle grounds, it adds an impressive creative element to the festival that is available for free to the public 24/7. A spectacle under the Northern Lights! We hope that people will choose to support this event.

The festival kicks off on March 3rd.
