YK man charged with possession

A Yellowknife man is facing multiples charges related to possession of cocaine.

The 23-year-old man was arrested early Friday morning after Yellowknife RCMP executed a search warrant. RCMP had received a tip that a man was inside the residence and in breach of his release conditions. Cocaine, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia was seized from the house.

The Yellowknife resident was charged with one count of Possession and three counts Failing to Comply with a Condition of his Recognizance.

The man is scheduled to appear in court later today.
