Northwestel long-distance phone service down across the North

Northwestel is currently experiencing problems with phone lines.

External Communications Manager for the telecommunications company, Matt Wallace, assures they are currently working on fixing the issue.

There has been a disruption to our long-distance phone service in communities across the North,” says Wallace. “Internet, cellular and video services are not affected.

Wallace adds that Northwestel apologizes for any inconvenience the issue may have caused.
