Yellowknife Santa Claus parade float winners announced

The winners of this year’s Santa Claus parade have been announced.

The parade was held this past weekend.

The theme for the parade was favourite Christmas movies

According to the City of Yellowknife “floats were judged for creativity, use of lights and decorations, incorporation of the theme, enthusiasm and effort.”

Best School Float was Ecole Allain St. Cyr.

Best Commercial Float was Yellowknife Co-op.

Best Not-For-Profit Float was the NWT Disabilities Council.
