United Way NWT to make investment decisions

United Way NWT is getting ready to make its community investment decisions for 2018.

Registered non-profits have until December 8th to apply for a $7 500 grant for their community projects.

  • United Way NWT funding is focused in three areas:
From poverty to possibility: Moving people out of poverty and meeting basic human
    needs
  • Healthy people, strong communities: Improving access to social and health-related
support services and supporting resident and community engagement
  • All that kids can be: Improving access to early childhood learning and development
programs, helping kids do well at school, and making the healthy transition into
    adulthood

United Way applicants must be CRA-registered non-profit organizations.

There will also be a separate application process for multi-year funding. That will come at a later date.
