WLU to have a home in YK

Wilfrid Laurier University will be opening an office in Yellowknife.

The office will be used for research that will allow WLU to, “further develop its national and international leadership in cold regions research.

The research office will be in the W.H. Bromley Building in downtown Yellowknife. It will have year-round staff, primarily research associates and postdoctoral fellows.

There will be a grand opening on September 25th. Following the opening, there will be a panel discussion on Laurier’s northern research at the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre.
