Liquor seizure in Fort McPherson

Fort McPherson RCMP are investigating a liquor seizure.

RCMP were conducting a traffic check on Dempster Highway, just north of the town.

48 mickeys of vodka, a 40oz bottle of rum, and 28g of marijuana were seized.

Fort McPherson is a restricted community, meaning the quantity of liquor that a person may possess is strictly limited.

No charges were laid at the time of the seizure.
