Deputy Health Minister Debbie Delancey is retiring.
Premier Bob McLeod announced today that Bruce Cooper will be the new Deputy Health Minister.
Cooper is currently the Deputy Minister of the Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development in Newfoundland.
In a press release, the GNWT says DeLancey is retiring this fall after a long and distinguished career.
Delancey became Deputy Health Minister in September 2011 after the resignation of Paddy Meade.
The Territorial Government says Cooper will assume his new position on October 2nd.
