YKDFN holds public meeting before advanced polls

All three candidates for Chief of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation heard feedback from the community.

A public meeting at the N’dilo gymnasium saw over 40 people in attendance.

Ernest Betsina, Shirley Tsetta and Alex Beaulieu spoke with community members for three and a half hours.

A vote was held at the beginning of the meeting and all media outlets were asked to leave in advance.

Early votes can be submitted at the Det’on Cho Boardroom on Wednesday, August 30th and 31st as well as Friday, September 1st and Tuesday, September 5th.

Election Day is Wednesday, September 6th.
