Tim Hortons Opens Downtown Location

The double double is downtown.

Tim Hortons offically opens a new location today in downtown Yellowknife.

Tim Hortons’ franchisee, Suzanne Desfosses, spoke with Moose FM when the new location was announced.

“People in the city of Yellowknife and our guests have been really patient about this,” says Desfosses. “It’s been a long time coming for years. The land got sold to somebody else, the building got sold to somebody else and now everything is coming together as it should.”

The new Tim Hortons is located in the Centre Square Mall with doors facing 49th street.
