Dog killer Lloyd Thrasher back in court for multiple cases

A Yellowknife man known for beating a dog to death is back in court.

Lloyd Thrasher appeared in Yellowknife Territorial court this morning.

Today’s appearance focused on charges related to stolen laptops from the Tree of Peace in December 2016.

Next week, Thrasher will appear in court for an entirely separate issue.

Sentencing will be handed down for a previous incident where Thrasher disappeared for three years while wanted on charges of breaking into two convenience stores.

Thrasher is also notorious for the killing of a one-and-a-half year old Chinese pug in 2011.

Lloyd Thrasher’s next court appearance is scheduled for August 11th.

Some barren ground caribou herds listed in the report are more at risk than others, each having separate management plans.
