Residents of Fort Good Hope are recovering well after multiple wildfires threatened the Sahtu community.
The K’ahsho Got’ine Community Council says there are no more wildfires and no smoke in the community.
The council also says there are no residents reporting asthma attacks or other health effects from the wildfires.
The Fort Good Hope wildfire had spread over 16,000 hectares of land and came just 18 kilometers away from the community.
