RCMP close case of Missing Mushroom Picker

RCMP are thanking the public for their assistance after a mushroom picker from the czech republic returned on Friday

RCMP say the missing female presented herself to the RCMP Command Post at the search site near Reid Lake on Friday, July 7, at approximately 10 pm.

The person was tired, dehydrated, but had not appeared to have suffered any injuries during the days wandering the forests outside the campsite where she had been staying.

The RCMP received a statement from the missing person and have concluded the search and rescue.

RCMP are encouraging anyone heading into a remote area to consider carrying a piece of clothing, cloth or banner that is bright, fluorescent and reflective.
