Northwestel has issued a statement saying that customers in Yellowknife, Hay River and Fort Smith will experience a disruption in TV services due to a fibre cut.
The cut occurred just outside of the community Jean Marie, NWT. All telecommunications services there are disrupted. Emergency services have been notified.
Technicians are working on fixing the issue. Customers should be prepared to go for several hours without services.
