It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s the Royal Canadian Airforce in the NWT!

The air force is bringing the Canadian Arctic Aviation tour to Yellowknife and Hay River this weekend.

Lieutenant Jennifer Halliwell is the Demonstration Team Public Affairs Officer.

“We are up her with the Canadian Arctic Aviation tour, with the Royal Canadian Air Forces CF18 demonstration team and our Canada 150 painted CF18 fighter jet,” says Lieutenant Jennifer Halliwell, the Demonstration Team Public Affairs Officer. “If anyone is in the area they will definitely hear the jet but hopefully they also get a chance to see it with it’s beautiful Canada 150 painted scheme and be able to come out and meet the team as well.”

Hay River’s airshow will be on Saturday, July 8th around 2pm.

Yellowknife’s airshow will be Sunday, July 9th at 3pm around the Back Bay area.
