Prime Minister Mark Carney announces over $30 billion dollars will be invested into bases in Yellowknife, Inuvik, Iqaluit, and Goose Bay along with three major projects for the N.W.T.. The Mackenzie Valley Highway Project, the Arctic Economic and Security Corridor and the Talston Hydro Expansion project all have all received the green light. The Fort Smith born prime minister made the announcement Thursday afternoon in the city of Yellowknife at the department of national defence.
