Woman facing 24 drug and firearm charges back in court

One woman facing 24 drug and firearm related charges is back in court.

Rena Violet Helen McKay will appear through a live video feed this afternoon in yellowknife territorial court.

Mckay and Michael Robert Taylor were arrested in February after seven handguns, cocaine and marijuana were discovered in their vehicle during a traffic stop near Enterprise.

Charges include impaired driving, possession of firearms and multiple cases of trafficking an illegal substance.
