Aggravated assault at Prelude Lake

Early in the morning on June 20th, Yellowknife RCMP began investigating a case of assault.

The victim had been allegedly assaulted with a weapon. He was suffering from serious injuries and had been taken to Stanton Territorial as soon as possible.

The alleged suspect was met by police. They were reportedly cooperative with officials.

The investigation is ongoing.
