Inuvik cemetery vandalized; person of interest identified

An investigation is underway after a gravesite was damaged.

The suspect drove their vehicle through a row of graves, leaving tire tracks and damaging stones, crosses and flowers.

RCMP have identified a potential suspect. No charges have been laid.

Police are asking family members of the damaged graves to come forward to help provide more insight on the case.
