Yellowknife man facing impaired driving charges following fatal weekend crash

A 29-year-old Yellowknife man is facing several charges following a single vehicle collision on Highway 4 over the weekend.

Joshua Moore faces charges of driving impaired, impaired driving causing harm, and impaired driving causing death.

The crash occurred on the morning of May 21 after the car went off the road and into a body of water. All passengers were transported to Stanton Territorial where one woman was pronounced dead.

He is set to appear in court on May 24.
