Brigitte Rivet named acting principal of École J.H. Sissons

Brigitte Rivet has been named as acting principal of École J.H. Sissons School (ÉJHS) for the 2017/2018 school year, according to Yellowknife Education District No.1 (YK1). 

Brigitte, who has served as assistant principal at the school for the past two years, has taught several subjects at various schools in Yellowknife, namely:

  • French
  • Kindergarten
  • Primary
  • Grade 1
  • Grade 6

“YK1 looks forward to Brigitte’s continued contributions to our schools and students,” read a news release from YK1.

Brigitte has a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor’s of Education degree from the Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface (University of Manitoba) in Winnipeg.
