Young Northerners encouraged to apply for Ottawa internship

Northwest Territories youth are being encouraged to apply for the Council of the Federation Youth Internship Program.

Applications will be accepted until May 10, and are open to university graduates under the age of 25.

The year-long internship begins in Ottawa this July and is a paid position.

The purpose is to teach young people more about politics, including how public policy is created and how intergovernmental relations work.

Applications can be found on the Canada’s Premiers website.
