Yellowknife downtown toboggan hill to close for the season

If you’re a fan of tobogganing, your time for fun is almost up; this weekend is the last that Yellowknife’s toboggan hill downtown will be open.

That’s according to a Facebook post by the city.

The well-loved hill on 51 Avenue will close for the season on Monday.

Drivers and pedestrians are reminded to be careful while heavy machinery removes the snow. The street is expected to be back open for traffic by noon Tuesday.
