Pictures: 6th annual Long John Jamboree gets a chilly start

The 6th annual Long John Jamboree has officially kicked off on Yellowknife Bay.

The festival runs all weekend, and events will feature live music, curling, trivia and volleyball among other activities.

The Inspired Ice Carving Competition will also be returning this year. Judging for the competition is Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock.
