Organizers of the Canadian Championship Dog Derby are warning drivers to be mindful of delays along the Dettah ice road this weekend.

The road will be closed for up to 20 minutes starting at approximately 1:45 o.m again at 3 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The closing is meant to provide safe passage for competitors.
While the public is encouraged to watch the teams in the area, residents are asked to park well back of the barricades set up on the road.
