A man who was wanted on warrants in connection with a Yellowknife drug investigation was recently arrested in Alberta.
22-year-old Hanad Warsame of Toronto was among six people arrested and charged as part of a ‘significant’ drug bust in Lethbridge on Nov. 23.
Police say the bust was related to a previous investigation in the community.
Altogether, officers seized 526 grams of cocaine, 22 grams of a buffing agent and 15 oxycodone pills from a northside home. A replica firearm and over $3,000 in cash was also confiscated.

Police say the drugs seized have an estimated street value of over $50,000.
The six individuals who were arrested are facing a total of 14 criminal charges.
